Who among Anthony Abraham and Ruth Powell would have thought some months back that they would do what they are destined to, in their dreamland? Guys! These love birds transformed to a couple on April 29, 2012, at the Tengboche Monastery located in the mountainous neighborhood of the Everest.
Anthony, 51 and Ruth, 46 (both Canadian citizens), are lovely, outgoing and fun loving clients of Ace the Himalaya. They fell in love a couple of years back and there has been no looking back in their relationship ever since.
An adventure filled holiday was all they were longing for! And we at Ace the Himalaya fulfilled their wish as they got to explore mountainous glory and splendor of Nepal. After kissing the feet of Himalayas, they decided to be together and got married at the monastery in typical Sherpa wedding tradition. The marriage, which was performed by a Lama priest, was witnessed by two of our energetic and passionate employees, Gyan Bahadur Bhatta and Kamal Raj Neupane
If you must be wondering who attended the wedding, then here is what happened: The couple was literally mobbed by the local residents and hence hardly had the event left to be unattended.
