Routine language and first aid training are provided to our guides and porters. For the sake of the porters’ safety, we restrict the total weight they can carry to 30 kg. Over time, our porters receive instruction and training to assume the responsibilities of a guide.
- Well-equipped staff

If the fixed departure dates do not work for your schedule, please let us know so we can offer alternative individualized departure dates. 16. Guide-Porter Ratio
For every seven members in a trekking group, we assign one trekking guide and add assistant guides for groups over seven. One porter is assigned to every two trekkers. A porter is added for an odd number of participants. In the case of climbing, we have one climbing guide for every two climbers.
