Overview
Ace the Himalaya was founded by Prem K Khatry in 2006 AD. After working for many years as a freelance tour/trekking leader, Prem established Ace with the goal of making it a fully Nepali-owned inbound operator with a headquarters in Kathmandu. As a Nepalese-owned company, Ace is well versed within the Himalayan range, allowing for more knowledgeable guides. This local ownership also offers wholesale tour operators with the added benefit of affordable ground services and superior-quality itineraries. Furthermore, as Ace has wide international representatives throughout Australia, Indonesia, Switzerland, the UK, and the USA, concerns and queries can be answered through them.
What We Do
Ace the Himalaya specializes in trekking, mountain biking, peak climbing, rafting, wildlife safaris, cultural tours, and other special itineraries. Ace offers both pre-planned itineraries and custom travel planning services in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India. Ace can also accommodate large groups, having worked with student groups of about 250 travelers. We also have voluntourism itineraries. We offer trips for foreign independent travel (FITs) to book the trip directly from the website. Ace also works as a ground-handling partner for many international brands.
