The International Ecotourism Society (TIES)

As the world’s oldest and largest international ecotourism association, TIES seeks to be the global source of knowledge and advocacy uniting communities, conservation, and sustainable travel.

Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA)

ATTA is the global trade network supporting sustainable adventure travel markets worldwide, through adventure travel news, research, events, networking and education. The ATTA is also host of the annual Adventure Travel World Summit.

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA)

It is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization working as National Alpine Association of Nepal to promote mountain tourism, climbing sports and protect mountain environment.

Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN)

TAAN is an umbrella association of trekking agencies in Nepal. It was established in 1979 by a group of trekking agents who wanted to regulate the trekking and adventure industry. Members of the association work together to meet their common goals and assist the government by providing suggestions to develop trekking business into a revenue generating industry.

Nepal Tourism Board

NTB is an autonomous body modeled as a partnership between Nepal Government and the private sector tourism industry of Nepal and has statutory duties as the National Tourism Organization. NTB aims to promote Nepal as quality tourism destination in the international arena with specific brand image.

Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP)

Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) is a non-governmental organization promoting “minimum impact trekking” to minimize environmental damage caused by tourism.

Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation (MoTCA)

Government of Nepal has been actively promoting tourism in Nepal and has always encouraged the private sector for their involvement and participation. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation (MoTCA) gives equal importance to conservation of natural, cultural and human resources.

Sambhav Nepal

Sambhav Nepal is a registered non-profit, non-political, social organization aiming to establish and implement sustainable education, health, and community development programs in isolated areas of Nepal. Presently, the organization is working in ten remote villages of Gorkha district. Ace the Himalaya fully supports Sambhav Nepal foundation. Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)

Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for profit association that is internationally acclaimed for acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region.

Adventure Cycling Association

Adventure Cycling Association is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire, empower and connect people to travel by bicycle. It is a premier bicycle-travel organization in North America with more than 40 years of experience and 52,000 members. Ace the Himalaya is a Bronze supporter for Adventure Cycling Association

The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics protects the outdoors by teaching and inspiring people to enjoy it responsibly. The Center accomplishes this mission by delivering cutting-edge education and research to millions of people every year.

 

Travelers Against Plastic (TAP)

TAP is an outreach initiative which aims to educate global travelers about the harmful impacts of using disposable plastic water bottles and therefore encourage travelers to be prepared to clean their own drinking water. Our vision is to catalyze a self-sustaining global movement resulting it the near-elimination of travelers’ dependence on disposable plastic water bottles.
