High up in the Himalayas, Anthony Abraham and Ruth Powell wedded as per the Buddhist tradition in Tengboche Monastery. They had come to Nepal for Everest Base Camp Trek. After touching the foot of Everest, they decided to marry. And we, Ace the Himalaya, fulfilled our clients’ wish. It was back on 29th April, 2012. Their wedding in Nepal was attended by the local residents.
Similarly, there was another story of our clients wedding in Nepal as per the Hindu tradition.
Jennifer Crawford, a teacher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology-School in Saudi Arabia, had come to Nepal for Everest Base Camp trekking. While on trek, she fell in love with our Senior Trek Guide, Robin Sapkota, a hardworking and cheerful guy. Then they decided to marry. So, on 23rd June, 2012, they tied knots in Manakamana temple, one of the popular Hindu temples in Nepal. We attended their wedding in Nepal ceremony. It was full of joy and enjoyment.
In both cases, our clients got married in exotic, beautiful location and according to the tradition that was foreign to them. But they enjoyed wedding in Nepal a lot.
People often say that the day you marry is the day you are most happy and it’s the day you won’t forget all your life. Our clients had a reason more than marriage to be happy. Not only they were entering wedlock with person they love but also they were doing so in style. They were marrying as per different culture and at place that was alien but alluring. They were wedding in Nepal that very few people ever do. They share that their wedding in Nepal is the most unforgettable moment of their lifetime.
