All the arrangements for the trip were very well-handled by Ace the Himalaya. The staff in Kathmandu were attentive, informative and patient. When we reached Lukla we met Madan, Deepak, Deepsung and Rupesh and were well-briefed and prepared for the first stage.

Our guides treated us with respect, consideration and warmth.

They all, especially Madan, took time to get to know us while looking out for our safety and welfare at all times.

There was always humour and enjoyment, even in the tougher times, and Madan’s love and respect for the mountains was inspiring!

We have enjoyed staying in touch with Madan and admiring the constant stream of stunning photos of the beautiful Himalayas.

We are planning another trek and will definitely be going with Ace the Himalaya and insisting on Madan as our guide!
