Corporate Social Responsibility
We are well aware of our Corporate Social Responsibility and have integrated self regulation in our business model. Our CSR policy functions as a built-in, self-regulating mechanism whereby we monitor and ensure that all our business practices adherence to law, ethical standards, and international norms, and of course, sustainability.
We believe that businesses should embrace responsibility for the impact of their activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, and all other members of the public sphere. Furthermore, business should proactively promote the public interest by encouraging community growth and development, and voluntarily eliminating practices that harm the public sphere, regardless of legality. Essentially the CSR of our organization is the deliberate inclusion of public interest into corporate decision-making, and the honoring the environment, the culture, and the community.
Ace the Himalaya in co-operation with Sambhav Nepal is involved in different social activities such as Child Sponsorship, Nepal Earthquake relief and so on.

Child Sponsorship Program
The goal of this program, which is a joint effort with Sambhav Nepal, is to provide school level education to underprivileged but deserving children so as to empower them to better their future prospects through education.

Community Support Through SN
Ace the Himalaya fully supports as well as works closely with the social organization Sambhav Nepal Foundation. On a yearly basis, a portion of the proceeds from our company’s revenue goes directly towards Sambhav’s projects.

Ace the Himalaya promotes CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) principles and is more than delighted to organize any form of community support. We recently became a part of the cause ‘ALTITUDE FOR AUTISM 2012’ at the Island Peak (6187 meters/20298ft) Expedition.

Guides and Porter Policy
We employ only local leaders and staff to help sustain the local communities we work with.

Responsible Tourism Guidelines at Ace the Himalaya
Basically we ask all our travelers to respect local rules and values. This means different things in different countries so be as informed as possible about the country you visit before you arrive – try to learn some of the local language and read about the religion and culture.

Responsible Tourism & Sustainable Policy
Responsible tourism is very much imperative as it becomes a responsibility of each and every individual within the tourism sector. Because our business and our livelihood depend upon the continued existence of the natural environment, it has always been our policy to organize trips that leave behind as little carbon footprint as possible.

Trishuli River Clean-Up Campaign
Besides cleaning the polluted Bagmati River in Kathmandu in January 2012 as a part of celebration of the seventh anniversary, Ace the Himalaya continued the cleanliness campaign in Trishuli River as well.
