Yam Rana embodies the spirit of passion, dedication, and growth. His love for trekking brought him to us, where he has become a trusted guide, leading trekkers through the awe-inspiring regions of Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang.

Yam’s journey began humbly as a porter, but his unwavering commitment and eagerness to learn propelled him forward. He absorbed knowledge from experienced guides, honing his skills and expanding his understanding of the mountains and their allure. Today, he holds a license from the Ministry of Tourism of Nepal, along with a High Altitude First Aid Certificate, ensuring the safety and well-being of those under his guidance.

Beyond his role as a trekking guide, Yam is currently working as a community service project supervisor who works in the field for construction and voluntourism projects with our associated company, Shambav Nepal. This exemplifies his dedication to giving back to the community that has nurtured his growth. He understands the importance of sustainable tourism and seeks to create a positive impact through responsible practices.
