Janardan Ghimire

Janardan Ghimire who is often called as Janu by his clients, is an experienced and passionate trekking guide from Dhading, Nepal. He started his trekking career in 2008, beginning directly as a trekking guide and has been working with Ace the Himalaya since 5 years.

After developing a passion for exploring Nepal’s mountains and natural landscapes. With extensive experience on the trail, he has guided clients across the Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Manaslu, and Mustang regions, as well as routes including Ruby Valley, Helambu, Nagarkot, Chisapani and many more.

Janu enjoys being in nature and meeting people from different countries, making trekking both his profession and passion. He speaks English, Hindi, and Nepali fluently and has deep knowledge of Nepal’s local cultures, customs, traditions, history, and places, which he enjoys sharing with his clients along the trail.

Janardan Ghimire is a licensed trekking guide and first-aid certified, with a strong focus on maintaining safety and providing attentive support throughout each journey.

For Janu, the safety has always been a priority. He believes a successful trek combines safety, good hospitality, local knowledge, and genuine care for guests. Outside trekking, he enjoys reading, cycling, and exploring new places, continuing his love for travel and the outdoors.
