Aamod Nepal

Aamod Nepal is a licensed trekking guide from Nuwakot, with hands-on experience across some of Nepal’s most popular Himalayan trekking regions. His journey in tourism began in 2016 when he worked as a porter for a year then became a trekking guide with Ace the Himalaya.

Starting from the ground up has given him a practical understanding of mountain trails and the challenges trekkers may encounter along the way.

Aamod has guided across the Everest, Annapurna, and Manaslu regions, gaining familiarity with their trekking routes, mountain landscapes, and local communities. His favorite route is the Everest Three Passes Trek, which he has completed more than 25 times.

The challenging high passes and spectacular Himalayan views make this route especially rewarding for him. He also expanded his high-altitude experience by successfully climbing Island Peak in 2025.

Aamod has also completed first aid training, mountain weather forecasting, GPS and map reading training, and tourism photography training, earning certificates in these areas. His knowledge of the trails and training help him prepare for changing mountain conditions and support guests throughout their journey.

He also values responsible travel and sustainable tourism and understands the importance of respecting local communities, protecting the natural environment, and encouraging responsible behavior on the trail.
