This trek delivered an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish. We hiked through beautiful birch and rhododendron forests with picturesque waterfalls and were rewarded with stunning panoramic mountain views as we ascended higher. The absolute highlight was summiting Gokyo Ri. The views of Everest, Cho Oyu, and the other towering peaks all around us were simply spectacular and made every difficult moment worth it.

Our guide, Rajkumar, made all the difference. He navigated every challenge with incredible patience and positivity. When we were sick, he organized doctor visits, secured oxygen, and arranged a helicopter to get us back down quickly after bad weather trapped us in Gokyo for six nights. He literally helped shovel the helipad when we were snowed in! Raj even stayed with us after his tour officially ended, making sure we got our flight out of Lukla when hundreds of people were stranded. Raj was our trip hero, and made the trek an incredibly positive experience overall despite all of the challenges we faced. I could not recommend this trek or our guide more highly!
