The Story of ACE
Founded in 2006 by Prem K Khatry, Ace the Himalaya began as a small, locally owned tour operator with a mission to provide authentic Himalayan travel experiences. After working for many years as a freelance tour/trekking leader, Prem established Ace with the goal of making it a fully Nepali-owned inbound operator in Kathmandu.
Today, we have a strong international presence, with representatives in the USA, Switzerland, Indonesia and South Korea, connecting travelers worldwide to the majestic Himalayas.

As a Travelife Certified Travel Company, we actively promote sustainable and responsible tourism by minimizing plastic use, partnering with environmentally responsible hotels, and ensuring all our team members are Travelife trained and certified.
We design both expertly crafted itineraries and fully pre- customized trips based on traveler preferences, delivering seamless experiences through experienced local guides and thoughtful planning. During treks, we are proud to be the only company using Katadyn water filtration systems, significantly reducing single-use plastic bottles.
