We did our Everest Base Camp Trek bang in the middle of winter. With temperatures plummeting to -27 C, it was only smart to choose the right trekking company. ACE the Himalayas were super awesome in getting us set up. What stood out of many things was the ability to choose our trekking guide. We chose Milan and then got to know that he was declared Guide of the Year for 2023 in January end 2024.

Milan made sure that we are not only comfortable in the most hostile winter conditions but also ensured that we are able to complete our trek safe and sound. He had enough and more information on the Himalayas, what to do and what not to do. What to eat and what not to eat. What pace to walk on and how much water to drink. Both he and our sherpa, Sonal went beyond every single time to ensure that we are as comfortable as the situation allows.

I would not only highly recommend ACE the Himalaya folks but also both Milan and Sonam. It was an incredible journey. I just feel like doing it again.
