I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Ace the Himalayas, and it was nothing short of a life-changing experience. Being in the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and experiencing mountain life, was a privilege I will never forget.

Our trekking group was led by Pasang, our highly skilled lead guide, and Sauman, our assistant guide, along with four fantastic porters—Dipak, Hem, Rabin, and Gombu. Both Pasang and Sauman were incredibly knowledgeable, answering our many questions about the mountains and sharing fascinating details about their elevations and histories.

The most challenging part of the journey was the final four days, trekking from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp and then back through Dzongla, Chola Pass, and Thangnak to Gokyo. The terrain was demanding, and the trek tested our endurance, but with the unwavering support of our guides and porters, we made it through. They took care of each one of us individually, ensuring our safety by monitoring our blood oxygen levels and providing daily briefings on the next day’s trek. They were always available to answer our questions and offer assistance whenever needed.

This entire trek has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life, and I will cherish it forever.
