Ganesh Bahadur Khanal

Originally from Dhading, Nepal, Ganesh Bahadur Khanal has been part of Nepal’s trekking industry since 1998. He began his career as a porter, gaining valuable first-hand experience of the trails and the demands of high-altitude trekking.

After a year, he progressed into the role of a trekking guide, building his career through years of experience on the mountain trails. He has been guiding with Ace the Himalaya since 2016, bringing extensive knowledge and practical experience to every journey.

Ganesh has guided trekkers through some of Nepal’s most renowned regions, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. Among them, the Everest Base Camp Trek remains his favorite route, a journey he believes is unique and cannot be replaced by any other trekking experience.

Ganesh has also expanded his mountain experience through climbing, having successfully summited Pisang Peak in 2007 and Tent Peak in 2010. His familiarity with Nepal’s mountain trails and his easygoing approach help create a comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable experience for his guests. 

For clients trekking with Ganesh, the journey is about more than simply reaching the destination. His goal is to make every day on the trail safe, enjoyable, and memorable, allowing guests to fully experience the mountains while enjoying the trekking experience along the way.
