I originally booked the EBC experience solo.. but got paired with 2 other girls around my age and we made lifelong memories together! This was truly an unforgettable trip with lifelong memories.. and our guide Rajendra Khatry was the BEST guide we could have asked for. Multiple times a day me and the girls talked about how lucky we were to have him.

He owns a clinic back in Kathmandu.. and knows SO much about medicine, the mountains, and helpful tips when it comes to climbing and how to avoid altitude sickness, food poisoning, and more. He is absolutely hilarious and we all laughed all day even when the hikes were hard.

He has done EBC over 100 times and also is an amazing photographer! He took the best photos of all of us throughout the trip. He genuinely enjoys being a guide, you can tell it’s not just a job for him. He is so knowledgeable and we were constantly learning new things, and shared so many laughs.

Having Raj as a guide along with being paired with 2 girls from other countries made the entire trip so much fun for me, and so much more enjoyable. Ace the Himalaya really does have it all planned out and I would 100% recommend this company to anyone, and Raj as a guide! Make sure you ask for Raj Khatry, you will have an absolutely unforgettable experience. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
