Trip Information

Ace the Himalaya brings to our clients a special package of marriage, if you are couples on a holiday in Nepal. This program has been named ‘Wed in Nepal’. We decided to introduce the program after we successfully held the wedding ceremony of our Canadian clients, Anthony and Ruth at a monastery as per Buddhist culture, in the Everest region on 29th April 2012.

If you are lovebirds enjoying any tour package of Ace the Himalaya and would like to transform as a married couple in your dreamland, Nepal, then we are here to fulfill your wish.

We can organize your wedding ceremony at high altitude like Everest base camp or in Buddhist monastery or in Hindu’s temple.

A traditional Hindu marriage is conducted by a Hindu priest at a temple premise or any place decorated to make it eligible for worshiping the deities at. The groom and the bride, both are dressed in typical Nepali wedding costumes; bride dressed in red all over and also with ornaments. The typical get-up for bride includes red sari, red veil and ornaments. The groom wears coat, Daura-suruwal, and Nepali topi (hat). Then, the groom puts red powder (‘Sindur’) on the head of the bride. Similarly, a traditional Buddhist marriage is held by a Lama or Buddhist priest at a gumba.

In Nepal, parties after marriages are a must. Your wedding and party will be done the way you want. So, don’t worry about the costs! The cost of the entire program starts from US$ 3000, depending on the venue and how big is the party you want to throw. Ace the Himalaya donates up to 10% of its annual revenue to Sambhav Nepal’s projects which cover regular maintenance of school buildings, constructing toilets, rebuilding earthquake-affected houses and schools, and so on.

    Sponsorship
One of the major activities of Sambhav Nepal is the children sponsorship program, which is conducted with full collaboration with Ace the Himalaya and its sister organizations, Ace Holidays and Ace Xpeditions.

    Partnership (Volunteering Program)
The Volunteering Program, devised by Ace the Himalaya and Sambhav Nepal, aims to mobilize teams of experts and interested individuals as an effective and economic measure in providing the human capital for education, health and community development in the villages of northern Gorkha district, western Nepal.

After the Earthquake of April 25, 2015, the Volunteering Program’s focus has been mobilizing the volunteers in various school and house rebuilding projects in the hard-hit Gorkha district.
