Trip Information

Rafting at Trishuli River gives the best insight of the diversified landscapes, demography, floras and the faunas. As Trishuli River is easily accessed from Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara, it is one of the mostly rafted rivers in Nepal. The mildly white water of Trishuli possesses impressive gorges, exciting rapids and some easier sections as well. For a first-time rafter this rafting would be one of the best as the rapids are fairly adventurous.

The two day rafting at Trishuli River lets you enjoy the rafting on both the days. You can enjoy and be a part of the most popular rapids like Ladise Delight, Upset, Surprise, Tea Pot etc.

Trishuli River Rafting can be only arranged from February to June and September to Mid-December.

Day 01 - Drive to Charaudi and Engage in Rafting

A drive in a private tourist vehicle for 3 to 4 hours in the morning from Kathmandu takes us to the starting point of rafting, Charaudi which is 85 km away. After guide briefs about raft and river, the trip hits a few class 2 or 3 rapids called “LADISE DELIGHT” and then we stop for the lunch. After lunch white water hits a class 2 to 3 rapid called “UPSET” and “SURPRISE”. At Fishling we stop and have hot tea/coffee with snacks. After the end of the rafting we head to our camping site at Kurinighat.

Overnight stay at the camp. Lunch and dinner included.

Day 02 - Additonal Rafting and Return to Kathmandu

Around morning time with tea and breakfast we raft towards white water hitting class 2 or 3 rapids “BIJILI RAPID” and “TEA POT” and stop for the lunch. After that raft we finish our trip at Simaltal and drive on a private tourist vehicle to onward destination Kathmandu.
