The whole trek was an amazing experience. We saw forested valleys and snow capped mountains.

Lake Phoksundo is such an out worldly place. The colour looks like it has been enhanced but it is real. The people and the culture is what makes the trek, although long, a brilliant “walk in the park”. Krish is a fantastic guide and his knowledge, language and overall work ethic made our trek that so much easier. He knew the mountains, the rivers and the best spots to camp. He even “organised” a Snow Leopard to walk past our camp. If you ever go to the Upper Dolpo area ask for Krish.
