Manoj Bhattarai

Manoj Bhattarai is one of the most experienced trekking guides of Ace the Himalaya. He has been guiding trekkers all over Nepal for last 10 years. He is an expert guide of Everest and Manaslu regions and remote trekking regions such as Upper Dolpo, Kanchenjunga and Lemi Valley.

He started as a porter and worked for two years. Before he came into trekking, he was in other professions which makes him one of the most broad-minded and informed guides we have. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and was a teacher for two years, and also worked as a hotel manager. Fluent in English and Russian, his hobbies include sports like football, volleyball, biking and rafting. And he practices meditation too.

He is licensed from Ministry of Tourism of Nepal and also holds a High Altitude First Aid Certificate.
