Alexia Nestora

Representative (North America)
Alexia previously ran the North American division of volunteer provider i-to-i and recently has led the field in volunteer tourism research. She has been featured by CNN, Smart Money and NY Times on the subject and continues to act as an industry expert through her blog: VoluntourismGal.com.
Alexia frequently speaks about voluntourism and social media at industry conferences and can frequently be heard giving webinars for ATTA and STI on the subjects. Her clients have included some of the great adventure companies including Intrepid, Inkaterra, Country Walkers, WorldNomads.com and PEPY Ride.
In November 2009 Alexia traveled for a month in Nepal meeting local operators and falling in love with the people and the country. She has volunteered in Ecuador, South Africa, Thailand, Costa Rica, New Zealand and Switzerland.
Melanie Kreuzer

Representative (Europe)
In 2007, the big moment has come: going for the first time to Nepal after being in the Indian Himalayas before. She spent almost two months, travelling, climbing and trekking with a close friend of hers. Her love and compassion for the mountains, the people and the country did start; and never has ended. This was meant to be the first time being in Nepal of many numbers to come.
She spent some months in the Himalayas each year since – and during her visitis, she got to know Prem personally (as she always booked her expeditions and trekkings with Ace the Himalaya).
In 2008 they decided to join forces and Melanie is very happy to help and support Ace the Himalaya, with its trekking- and expedition company as well as Sambhav Nepal Foundation.
Kathleen Serra

Representative (Australia & New Zealand)
After trekking the Himalayan region a number of times, Kathleen has developed an overwhelming passion for Nepal and joined forces with Prem. Now living and working at our sales office based in Melbourne Australia, Kathleen is also originally from Victoria; with a background in business management, marketing, sales, administration and finance.
Together she is operating Ace the Himalaya with Prem Khatri and incorporating current systems with modern ideas, enabling us to offer an excellent international level of service to all our clients from beginning to end.
Marlen Ziyadinov

Representative (Russia & East Europe)
Marlen Ziyadinov, licensed by the International Rafting Federation (CR 10 038 RG3), hails from Ukraine and has more than 15 years of professional outdoor experience. Though he worked with Ace the Himalaya since 2007, he joined the Ace team as the company representative and sales director for Russia and East Europe.
Ever since childhood, Marlen has been actively engaged in outdoor activities. An adventure enthusiast, he loves travelling and exploring new places and cultures. He is enthusiastic about the Himalayas and has been to Nepal many times. Not only does he have a considerable amount of knowledge on the Everest Region and the Annapurna Region, but he has also successfully scaled a number of peaks in the country, including Mera Peak and Island Peak. Moreover, he loves rafting in Karnali, Tamur and Sun Koshi Rivers - most famous among white water rafters in Nepal. His knowledge and love for adventure, especially in Nepal, makes him a great asset for Ace the Himalaya.
Linde Erasmus

Representative (South Africa)
From a young age, Lindé pursued extreme sports, thanks to growing up in a very active family, among which, her mother, trekked up to Kilimanjaro. Her God-given love for the outdoors has increasingly become a big part of her life.
Her journey to the Himalayan Mountains has captivated her and made an imprint on her heart to always return. As a new addition to the Ace-family, representing Ace the Himalaya company in South Africa, she looks forward to many more and exciting adventures.

Tshering Dorje

Operation In-Charge (Bhutan)
Tshering Dorji is originally from a traditional farming community in the sacred highlands of Bumthang Valley in Bhutan. A keen hiker, mountain biker and amateur photographer, he is constantly exploring and documenting the magic of Bhutan and keen to share the magical experiences.
Tshering is filled with vibrant local knowledge, enabling him to deliver immense high quality service while leading trips across Bhutan. Experienced, educated and versatile in multitude of languages, he has been involved with various aspects of leading trips all over the Kingdom for many years.
Birendra Pant

Financial Controller
Birendra works as an accountant and financial controller with Ace the Himalaya. This business graduate comes from Darchula, a Himalayan district in the far western Nepal.
Birendra handles the monetary issues of Ace the Himalaya. From maintaining accounts to keeping financial records and handing out pay checks to the staff, all are among Birendra’s works. He has also been given various responsibilities like posting bills, preparing budget for the tours / treks and also handling payments to the agents.
His hobbies are far from his jobs though, as he is a diehard fan of sports and loves watching football & cricket matches. He quotes his job as the ‘perfect internship’ for his academics. He also loves traveling and tourism. He has seen a great possibility of tourism development in his region, the far west, which is home to Api & Saipal Mountains and Khaptad areas.
Sajiya Shah

Miss Sajiya Shah a young enthusiastic lady completed her business degree from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu and is currently working as a communications officer for Ace the Himalaya. She has four years of experience working for some of the reputed company in the field of communication. She is also involved as freelance trainer for telecommunication and a writer for different newspapers and magazines.
At Ace the Himalaya her duty is to make proposals, get updated with the clients for online marketing, review the contents of website, post and edit the updates, emails in social media and research on new business plans. She enjoys and love her work and has tried her best to prove in her field.
She is very passionate about getting to know more about nature. During free time she loves reading novels, newspapers and magazines; listening to music and many more. Travelling and knowing about new and different places especially about the Nepal made her keen to be the part of Ace the Himalaya. Ranjan Khanal

CSP Co-Ordinator
Ranjan (Ekadatta) is the coordinator for community support projects (CSP) of Ace the Himalaya with our social organization Sambhav Nepal Foundation. He lives in Arupokhari- 7 (in Gorkha district in western Nepal), which is the main working area of Sambhav Nepal.
Ranjan is an English medium teacher at Bhairabi Primary School, one of the schools in the village where Sambhav Nepal has also served. He loves being around the kids in the school and keeps an eye on any social work he thinks he can do in the village. Though his main works are based in this village, he keeps coming to Kathmandu to visit Ace the Himalaya.

This well educated and well experienced man, from Nuwakot, is a wonderful tour guide of Ace the Himalaya. Fascination in culture and history made him complete Master’s degree in culture (and political science as well) from Kathmandu. He has guided thousands of tourists in major tourism destinations of Nepal including but not limited to Pokhara, Lumbini, Dhulikhel, Namobuddha and the UNESCO enlisted heritage sites of Kathmandu.
Kedar has had the government approved Tourist Guide training from Nepal Academy of Tourism & Hotel Management. His journey in this field started back in 1998 as a freelance tourist guide through various travel agencies. He is also a life member of Tourist Guide Association of Nepal. He has passion for history, culture, geography and archaeology.

Dil Bahadur Tamang

Dil Bahadur, our respected tourist guide is the brother of Kedar. Dil was born in Nuwakot but raised in Kathmandu. He has done Master’s in Commerce but his passion has always been for history, culture and geography, like his brother’s.
Having been involved in the tourism sector since 2003, Dil Bahadur has also been trained in the Tourist Guide Training Course from Nepal Academy of Tourism & Hotel Management. Also a life member of Tourist Guide Association of Nepal, he has received several trainings in teaching and vocational training. Apart from English, he speaks Japanese fluently.
He also has had two years of experience as a secondary level teacher and currently works part time as a language trainer in various institutes in Kathmandu. Well-educated/trained/experienced, passionate and multi-talented tourist guides like the Tamang brothers are great assets in the field of tourism.

Pasang Sherpa

Pasang is an energetic climbing guide from Solu Khumbu. He also cooks for the camps when and if required. His major work areas are Mera Peak and Tibet.
Pasang’s main works are assisting the clients while climbing peaks and assuring their safety. He takes climbing as much adventure filled but quite risky too. His hobbies include expedition, trekking, sports and helping the climbers. He also loves taking part in marathon races.
Ang Furi Sherpa

Ang Furi, a camping cook from Solu, prepares Nepali, Continental, Japanese and American dishes for our clients staying in camps while traveling. His major working destinations are Mustang, Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp. Besides English, he can speak some Japanese. His love for cooking and cooking skills make him a fine professional cook and we hope with his cooking, he makes his family happy as well.

Ram Hari Neupane

Ramhari originally hails from Gorkha, the land of brave Gurkhas. The passion for his travelling and curiosity about knowing new places made him join trekking industry. Besides pursuing his degree in Business study he has been working with Ace the Himalaya for past 3 years.
Birendra Khatri

Birendra originally hails from northern Gorkha. He started his trekking career as porter and now he is working as assistant guide for Ace since 2011.He is graduating in Business Studies. Birendra has received several trainings from the Ministry of Nepal, including First Aid, Responsible Tourism, and English language and recently licensed by the ministry of tourism to work as trekking guide in the high altitude.
Khilnath Regmi

Khilnath also known as Kanchha is from Gorkha and is working with Ace the Himalaya from past 3 years. Besides his work Khilnath is also pursuing his study of Diploma in Arts 2nd year.
He holds very good knowledge about the culture of Nepal. He helps senior guide for the bigger group and also small group in Annapurna, Langtang and Everest region.
Jivan Dahal

Jivan originally hails from beautiful Dhading district and is involved in Ace from past 5 years. He is very passionate towards his work and wants to be a trekking guide for Ace.
